Baked Walnuts
Full of important vitamins, minerals and fibers for your body,
and a great taste! You should consider serving baked
walnuts during Christmas. Here is some background
information on walnuts : Walnuts contain omega-3 fatty
acids, and have been shown to help lower cholesterol
levels. About five walnuts (29 grams) provides us with
the acids we need every day of those. Walnuts are a
good replacements for unhealthy snacks, they are tasty
and contain tons of calories to ease your hunger. Obviously people who suffer from nuts allergy should not consume them, but everyone else who cares about their health
should. Now back to the Baked Walnuts recipe:

The ingredients

2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 pound walnut halves

You can expect to get 15 servings out of this recipe.

Start by preheating your oven to 175 degrees Celsius
(350 F). Add sugar, butter and walnuts to the stuff egg
whites. Mix until the nuts are well coated. Spread out on
a cookie sheet. Next, bake in your preheated oven for
about 25 minutes, stir several times until browned nicely.
