Burgundy Ice
Hot summer day? How about some tasty Burgundy Ice?
Or perhaps you need a good dessert for after that amazing dinner you had. No problem Burgundy Ice is perfect for both
those occasions. Let's see what it takes to prepare
this recipe:

The ingredients

2 3/4 cups of cold water
1 (1-inch) stick cinnamon
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
A Pinch of salt
1/4 cup of applejack
Two cups of red burgundy
4 tablespoons strained lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated orange rind

Get a saucepan and fill it with cold water. Combine the cinnamon, sugar, salt and applejack in the pan. Now
stir until the sugar is dissolved nicely. Bring the whole
mixture to boiling point and let it boil for 5 minutes, don't
stir while this occurs. Strain the liquid good into another
saucepan or big bowl and cool for a while. Next, stir in
red Burgundy, orange rind, and lemon juice. Cool intensively
and chill for a minimum of 2 hours in your refrigerator. Stir
every 30 minutes before freezing.
